The challenge
In the summer of 2016, WSM underwent a complete organizational restructure and leadership transition. The Virtual Window was brought in to do a quick website upgrade to launch the new organization and has remained a trusted and valued consultant ever since, providing technical strategy and support, hiring and communications services, and developing program applications for projects such as Summer Rise and MARCI.
Our Solution
The final redesign incorporated more visual elements for easier navigation for WSM’s various audiences, as well as more prominently displaying WSM’s events, and important communications. The website is also setup to allow WSM staff to easily change the images and content, as well as manage the news and the events calendar. We also designed, developed and implemented a website and registration portal for WSM’s Summer Rise Program (including algorithm to optimally match students and job hosts) that launched in 2017. In addition we developed MARCI – Matching Analytics Resume Cloud Interface that allows WSM to match career seekers to carefully curated job postings.
As soon as we launched WorkSource Montgomery, we engaged Virtual Window digital services. They were able to provide an array of services as our organization grew. Services and solutions included website design, social media strategies, the development of job boards, development of registration platforms, creating program portals, and back-end integration of our customer relationship management tool.
