Andrew Aurbach

Co-Owner, Chief Strategist, Project Manager and Senior Video Producer

Andrew Aurbach has over 25 years of broadcast video and media production experience as well as project management expertise. Aurbach has developed multimedia and communications strategy and produced documentary, educational and outreach programs for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies, federal, state and local governments, major institutions of higher learning, trade associations to small businesses and community groups.

His broadcast producer credits include policy programs such as Great Decisions, a multi-year public television series for Georgetown University and the Foreign Policy Association, and Conversations with Marvin Kalb for Harvard University. Aurbach has also been involved with documentary productions such as Runways of Fire for the Smithsonian Air and Space, Legends of Airpower, and the public television specials Of Moose and Men: The Rocky and Bullwinkle Story and To Paint the Stars: The Life and Mind of Vincent Van Gogh. Aurbach was the U.S. coordinator for the Mentorn-Barraclough-Carey/BBC/Discovery production of The Clintons: A Marriage of Power. He has also worked as a network White House producer, and produced the first interactive DVD‑ROM, Encyclopedia Electronica, a multimedia educational resource. His work has earned a number of domestic and international awards. He has overseen the development of countless websites and web/mobile apps for clients ranging from neighborhood organizations to campaigns for Fortune 500 corporations and everything in between.

Andrew has supported both in-person and digital outreach and engagement for organizations and projects throughout the Washington metropolitan area. He serves on the Board for the Coalition for Smarter Growth, Tenleytown Main Street and as a Mayoral appointee to the District of Columbia Historic Preservation Review Board where he is the Chair of the Sustainability Task Force.  He has a Masters in City and Regional Planning as a result of his interest in making our communities stronger and more resilient.

Andrew Sherman

Co-Owner, Project Manager and Senior Technical Director

With specialties in Information Technology and Multimedia Design, Andrew Sherman brings over 20 years experience to ASAA Multimedia. Andrew’s work includes websites, apps, intranets and other new media applications. His nationwide clients, ranging from large organizations to small businesses, include Exxon/Mobil Corporation, the Federal Aviation Administration, The World Bank, The Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the DC Dental Society, Capital City Brewing Company, Vida Fitness, Aura Spa, and 901 Bar & Restaurant. Andrew’s expertise covers the entire multimedia spectrum: Requirements analysis, design, implementation, and social networking marketing outreach (SEO, Statistics, Facebook®, Twitter®, etc.). Prior to his work in multimedia and computer development, Andrew served in the Department of Justice as a Program Analyst and as a Public Relations and Information Manager for the American Sociological Association.
